WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO MARRY IN MEXICO? • Copy of passports and tourist card ( issued at the airport upon arrival). • Divorce papers, if applicable • Blood test for V.D.R.L., H.I.V. and R.H. and health certificate, (the blood tests must be done in Mexico within 7 days before the wedding.) • 4 witnesses: Must be over the age of 18 and be present during the ceremony in order to sign the marriage certificate. • Completed application form. (we will compete the application form for you).  Why do I need a wedding planner on site? Almost every bride imagine their wedding day since they were child, they think of it as a fairy tales, and see only the beauty of this magical moment. But they cannot imagine that to realize that perfect day, they need 100 to 200 hours to spend on planning it! As local planners, we know all the best vendors and know how to deal with them. Otherwise we will be able to work with your budget and create the perfect day for you. We will work full time at your wedding and assure you no-stress at all for the planning of your Big Day! You can relax and concentrate on shopping as we will do all the work for you! How long before the Wedding Ceremony should we book your service? The earliest the best. Saturday and Sundays are the first to go. High season (December to July) is busier than low season. We have planned weddings one year in advance to two months in advance. We can also organize a last minute wedding (with only a few weeks notice) In this case payment is due immediately. What is the first step before booking? Contact our team to discuss all the legal requirements thoroughly before deciding on the dates. Also let us know your requirements and help us to understand your needs, so we can let you know all the options for your special day. Then we choose the ideal location together. How can I be sure my wedding date will be available? Several times we receive requests for the same day, so to be sure that your date will be available our best advise is to contact us and to book as early as possible. How do I reserve my wedding date? With the receipt of your deposit. We require a booking fee of USD 300,00 to reserve for you your date, the deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The deposit will be treated as a down payment and applied towards the cost of the wedding package. What happens after we request your services? Once we receive your $300 deposit, we will send you a confirmation contract and a receipt and start to planning your ceremony, that will be be designed, created and written. We will see all the options and discuss all the details together. We will be available any time via phone or email for each and every question you have and for any new idea that you want to be included in your ceremony. A rehearsal time is recommended. Usually we set an appointment before you arrive in Mexico. Together you will check that you have all the necessary documentation and will take you through every aspect of the ceremony When the final payment is due ? Full payment is due 30 days prior to the wedding date. Is a Mexican Marriage Legal? Yes, Getting married in Mexico is as good as doing it in your hometown. As long as you abide by the rules of this country's marriage laws, it is valid is the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Are the Ceremonies performed in English? Civil Weddings are in English, religious is in Spanish, but we can provide interpreters during the ceremony. What time will you arrive and leave? We will arrive 1 hour - 3 hours before a ceremony, depending on the set up, to check personally that everything is going perfectly. And we will leave when the party is over when your last guest will leave the reception area. Whatever you will need during the ceremony or the reception we will be available. Do you offer travel airline tickets or travel packages? As we are not a Travel agency, and to be sure that your wedding day will be perfect, we only handle the Coordination of your wedding . So we do not offer airfare or hotel packages but in case you need we can help you to investigate the accommodation chosen or to recommend you a villa rentals here in Playa del Carmen and a good Travel agency.
